All Year · July 1, 2026
Crispy homemade pizza dough topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella and fresh toppings — made entirely from scratch.
The Story
Pizza takes on a different meaning when made at home. Kneading the dough, making the sauce, arranging the toppings — these small rituals turn it from a meal into an experience.
Every topping on a homemade crust becomes a little act of creativity.
Mix yeast, sugar and warm water; rest 5 minutes.
Combine flour, salt, yeast mixture and olive oil; knead into a smooth dough.
Cover and let rise 1 hour.
Make sauce: sauté garlic in olive oil, add tomato puree, oregano, salt and pepper; cook 10 minutes.
Preheat oven to 250°C (maximum). Put the baking tray inside to preheat too.
Divide dough in two and roll each into a thin round.
Spread sauce, add mozzarella and toppings.
Bake on the hot tray for 10–12 minutes until crust is golden.
Hazel's Note
Preheating the tray is the single most important trick for a crispy base. Get your oven as hot as it will go.
