The Story
Lentil balls are a staple appetizer in many Turkish homes, especially in Southeastern and Mediterranean cuisine.
A spicy, light and satisfying Turkish appetizer.
Boil lentils until soft.
Add bulgur and let it swell.
Sauté onion in olive oil.
Add tomato paste and spices.
Knead and shape the mixture.

Knead the bulgur and lentil mixture thoroughly so the patties hold their shape. Add a drizzle of olive oil if the mixture feels too dry.
